1. Overview

Some, but not all, products sold by WSTN Performance include a 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty.

If a product includes this warranty, it will be clearly stated on the product page, usually under or near the product description.

If there is no mention of a 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty on the product page, that product does not include this warranty.

The 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty (where offered) begins from the original date of purchase, as shown on your proof of purchase.


2. When the 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty Applies

The 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty applies only to:

  • Products where the warranty is explicitly stated on the product page or in the product description; and

  • Products purchased directly from WSTN Performance.

If a different warranty period or condition is stated on the product page, that specific wording will apply to that product.


3. What the 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty Covers

For eligible products, the warranty provides coverage for one (1) year from the date of original purchase against genuine manufacturing defects, including defects in:

  • Structural welds

  • Mufflers and internal components

  • Cracks caused by manufacturing faults

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship

  • Exhaust manifolds

  • Titanium exhaust systems

  • Catalytic converters

During the warranty period, if a product is confirmed to have a genuine manufacturing defect, WSTN Performance will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product; or

  • Replace the product; or

  • Provide a refund where repair or replacement is not reasonable.

A manufacturing defect refers strictly to faults arising from the production process, materials, or workmanship, and does not include damage caused by external factors, misuse, or operating conditions.


4. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Products that do not state a 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty on the product page

  • Normal wear and tear

  • The falling off of logos, branding, or WSTN badges

  • Scrapes, scrubbing, cosmetic marks, or surface damage

  • Cosmetic issues that do not affect product function

  • Damage caused by crashes, collisions, or vehicle accidents

  • Damage caused by incorrect installation or use outside the product’s intended purpose

  • Damage caused by racing, track use, competition use, or aggressive driving conditions

  • Damage caused by anti-lag, crackle, backfire, shift-cut, or similar tuning

  • Cracks caused by impact damage or external forces

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or lack of proper maintenance

  • Products that have been modified, altered, or repaired by unauthorised third parties

  • Products used outside normal road conditions (where applicable)

  • Any warranty claims made from countries outside of Australia

WSTN Performance reserves the right to inspect all returned products and make a final determination as to whether the issue is a manufacturing defect or an excluded cause.


5. Warranty Period

For eligible products, the warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase.

The purchase date is determined by the invoice, order confirmation, or receipt.

If a product is repaired or replaced under warranty, the original warranty period does not restart and continues from the original purchase date.


6. How to Check if Your Product Has This Warranty

You can confirm whether your product includes the 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty by:

  • Reviewing the product page on our website; and

  • Checking under or near the product description for a clear warranty statement.

If no warranty statement is shown, the product does not include this 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty.


7. How to Make a Warranty Claim

If your product includes a stated 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty and you believe it has a manufacturing defect, contact us via:

Please include:

  • Full name

  • Order number

  • Date of purchase

  • Product name

  • Detailed description of the issue

We may request:

  • Clear photos and/or videos showing the defect; and/or

  • The product to be returned for inspection.

The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs for warranty assessment unless otherwise agreed in writing.


8. Outcome of a Warranty Claim

If the product is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect covered under the 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty, WSTN Performance will:

  • Repair the product; or

  • Replace it with the same or an equivalent model; or

  • Provide a refund if repair or replacement is not reasonable.

If the product is not found to have a manufacturing defect or is excluded under this policy, the claim will be denied and the product may be returned at the customer’s expense.
